Five steps. ~2 minutes start to finish. Uses the calculator above.
Pick your scanner
Select Matterport Pro 2, Pro 3, iGUIDE PLANIX Pro, iGUIDE PLANIX R1, Giraffe360 Pro Camera, Realsee Galois M2, Realsee Galois P4, or enter a custom scanner. The calculator uses scanner-specific seconds-per-scan and coverage values to estimate shoot time.
Enter the property details
Type the property size, choose the property type (residential, commercial, hospitality), set the ceiling complexity, and add the number of exterior 360 points. Property type adjusts the time estimate; complexity adds a multiplier.
Set your labor rate and travel
Choose hourly, day rate, or per square-foot pricing, then enter the travel distance and drive time to the job site. This becomes your cost basis for the shoot.
Configure hosting and add-ons
Pick your hosting plan (Matterport, iGUIDE, Realsee, Giraffe360, or custom) and pricing rule (absorb, pass-through, or markup). Toggle on any add-ons: floor plan, MLS video, drone 360 panos, per diem.
Pick a pricing model and download the PDF
Margin %, multiplier, or target hourly — match the model to how you actually quote work. The client price updates live. Download the Client Estimate PDF (sanitized) to send the client; download the Internal Estimate PDF (full cost basis) for your records.

Frequently asked questions
How the WGAN 3D Tour Price Calculator works, what it supports, and what it costs.
- How much does a 3D virtual tour cost?
- For a typical 2,500 sqft residential property, a Matterport-style 3D virtual tour costs roughly $250–$700 depending on the photographer's hourly rate, hosting plan, and add-ons like floor plans or drone shots. Commercial properties usually cost more per shoot but less per square foot. This calculator estimates the price for any specific property in seconds.
- What scanners does this calculator support?
- Built-in profiles for Matterport Pro 2, Matterport Pro 3, iGUIDE PLANIX Pro, iGUIDE PLANIX R1, Giraffe360 Pro Camera, Realsee Galois M2, Realsee Galois P4, plus a custom option for any other camera. Edit the seconds-per-scan and square-feet-per-scan for any preset to match your real-world shooting speed.
- How does the pricing model affect my quote?
- Three options. Margin mode (price = cost ÷ (1 − margin%)) keeps your profit percentage steady as costs vary. Multiplier mode (price = cost × X) is simpler: pick a number, multiply. Target-hourly mode (price = hours × your target rate + pass-throughs) protects your hourly wage when scope varies. Match the model to how you actually think about pricing.
- Is this calculator free to use?
- Yes, fully free. It runs entirely in your browser — no account, no signup, no per-quote charge. We Get Around Network maintains it as a free tool for the global 3D capture community.
- Can I send a client a PDF without revealing my costs?
- Yes. Download "Client estimate" — a sanitized PDF that hides the hourly rate, hosting cost line, and raw-cost subtotal. The bundled "3D virtual tour package" line, individual add-ons, travel, and the final total are all the client sees. Download "Internal estimate" for your own records.
- Can I white-label the PDF with my own branding?
- Yes. Toggle "Include WGAN branding" off before downloading. The PDF removes the WGAN logo, footer attribution, and any WGAN visual signal. Your business name and contact info (entered once and saved locally) appear on every PDF as the "From" block.
- Does this calculator support metric units and non-USD currencies?
- Yes. Toggle between sqft and sqm next to the property-size input; toggle currency in the top-right (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD, JPY, CHF, or any custom 3-letter code). Internal math stays in sqft for consistency; only the display unit changes.
- Can I save my pricing as a template?
- Yes. Save your scanner, rate, hosting plan, add-on prices, pricing model, currency, and unit as a named template — load it for any future quote in two clicks. Templates store on your device only; export to JSON to move them between browsers.
- Who built this and why is it free?
- Built and maintained by We Get Around Network (WGAN), the largest community of 3D virtual tour and immersive media professionals. WGAN provides this calculator free to support the global community of capture pros, Matterport Service Partners, and reality-capture photographers.

About this calculator
The WGAN 3D Tour Price Calculator helps reality-capture professionals — capture pros, Matterport Service Partners, and members of the We Get Around Network — produce defensible quotes for clients in seconds. See the five-step quote workflow above, or jump to the scanner comparison table to see how each supported scanner performs.
Time is computed per-scanner: seconds-per-scan and square-feet-per-scan values for each supported camera roll up into a shoot-time estimate adjusted for property type and ceiling complexity. Costs include labor at your rate, hosting (Matterport plans, iGUIDE, Realsee, Giraffe360, or custom), add-ons like schematic floor plans, drone 360 panos, and per-diem, plus travel cost — distance and drive time to the job site, billable beyond an included free range (default rate: the IRS standard mileage rate). Pricing then runs one of three models — margin, multiplier, or target hourly — and produces a suggested client price plus an effective hourly readout. The full pricing model breakdown is covered in the FAQ.
Outputs include shareable URL links, internal and client-facing PDFs (with optional white-label branding), and a QuickBooks-compatible CSV. A separate rate card export is available for cold outreach. Multi-currency display (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD, JPY, CHF, or any custom code) and a sqft/sqm unit toggle support international users. Pair the calculator with the free Matterport contract template when sending quotes — covers scope, payment, IP, and reshoot terms.
Everything runs in your browser. No data is sent anywhere. Templates and saved settings live in your device's local storage only; use the export/import buttons to move them between machines.
